Did y'all hear that the SBC is starting a push for Southern Baptist parents to pull their kids out of public schools in favor of home schooling or private schools? I think they're actually using the word "Exodus" to describe it. If that ain't over the top, I don't know what is. But these are the same folks who develop projects like Hell House with plenty of money from their ignorant, rich parishioners. This is the minset that says one only has to believe; being a good person isn't required, so they're not good people. Then they complain when somebody mentions that fact. That is, some churches teach that one can be saved through Jesus Christ, justified, but do not deal with how to live your life as a Chrisitian, sanctification. It is important to teach both aspects of Christian life. I also disagree with their appeal to people through fear. I don't think being a Christian based on fear, or solely on emotion, will have a lasting effect. To be a Christian should involve the head and heart equally. Now, where can I download some of that stuff by Pajama Junk. You guys are way too deep for me. I just came here to hear my favorite band, Pajama Junk play some Jams. Now we are on about the the socio-eco-plasmic-inter-justopositional-transinterpolition of the geo-political-psuedo-ethical world view? I can't hang. I will have to Netflix that Hellhouse thing. Seems interesting. I read something the other day. "how to tell if you are a fundamentalist: You don't mind vehemently denying that everyone else's god is false, but you are pissed as hell if someone suggests that about your god." Something like that. Also, I listened to one of the music tracks posted here. I used it for utilitarian purposes. I used it as background music while I was working and doing emails. Very nice. I like it. As for "The Seventh Seal" I guess I will have to rent that puppy too. I assume it's not about that guy who married Heidi Klum and who is into kissing roses. Ouch. Cause, that would not make sense. Lord help us if there are seven of those dudes. Seven is gods perfect number I heard. Which supports my theory that he was actually from outer space where on his planet they have seven fingers. But I digress. Ok, now since writing all of the above I have added those two movies to my Netflix list. Both look great. You guys are going to make me both smarter and entertaineder. Ingmar Bergman. Good stuff. It's far more organic, and yes, the irony is stinging. This is the primacy of the upper class white male; there's no reason to have an abortion, ever, and there's nothing that can't be cured with prayer and a nice fat payment. Makes me sick. It's amazing to me how many Americans don't live in the Real World. Our only hope is that they figure out they're living a fantasy existence.
