"Hold on St. Christopher" is the only reason I have any respect for the Bulletboys. Then again, I might be the only person who remembers the "Smooth Up In Ya" band covered it. Poor guys. Poor Tom. Poor us.

I agree that you should write a travel book, Steve. I've laughed myself silly reading these entries.

Hope you and Herb are safe and well. Always awaiting another post.

Greetings...you made it, even if your cell phone didn't! I still remember being really disappointed that the Mojave didn't look like the Sahara when we first drove through. Have had many lunches in the town of Mojave, the Carl's Jr. is top rate. My parents have a mountain cabin an hour out of Mojave. My favorite thing about it is going by a sign in the middle of the desert saying "Welcome to Aqueduct City." It has a picture of a town on it, but for 20 years, there has been nothing there but sand and scrub where the town should be. Kind of says it all. Looking forward to next installment.

Hey Steve,
Great job on the posts. We have enjoyed keeping up with your adventures, as well as learning new grooming tips involving mango. I've long held the belief that this was a multi-faceted fruit whose beneficial uses have for too long been shunned by the so-called "cosmetics industry."

I would have posted something sooner, but I have recently decided to take up cycling and have spent a lot of time biking around town.
