On the path…coming up
The music front has been good recently. I met a guy who designs and builds high end mic pre amps that he’s going to let me test.
He sells these buggers for 10 grand to studios all over L.A. I think He said Snoop Dog bought one. It’s a good design and I’m very grateful and excited to get to use it. I plan to cut a few vocal tracks and then run my mixes through it kinda like a mastering bump box. I’ll let you know how it turns out.
So apart from that. I have a couple of tweaks to make on 2 hazel pieces and 1 kids song. Then I’m going to recut a song I’ve been working on called “Cinderella’s Heart”. Part of a trilogy that I approach delicately because after a few days of working on it wipes me out. Music as catharsis you know. That’ll be it for this year.
The job search has produced a CNA gig at a home health agency in the valley. So I’m grateful for that as well. I’m waiting to get into a CPR class because my certification lapsed.
Betty and Herb and Phil are coming into L.A. next week. Betty signed everyone up for a family getaway for Christmas. Looking forward to the experiences and stories that come from this.
And so since the blog is new and I want to keep it going, again for your entertainment and my catharsis; I was thinking of doing a pod cast of 3 of your favorite posts. I wonder what happens to all the posts when we go to 2007?
As we approach the thick of the season. I wanted to share this update.
Oh tomorrow I have been invited to an Ugly Sweater Christmas Party in Valencia.
Betty? Are you reading this?
Thanks for checking in.

Christmas in CA reminds me of “Better Off Dead.” (of course, it’s 70 degrees here today, so I guess it’s not much different)
I could send you a bunch of frozen t.v. dinners, or a hamburger that plays like Eddie Van Halen…
Don’t ski the K12 without me (do you know the street value of this mountain?!?)

Sounds like a nice visit. You will have to get Betty and Herb to meet your new friends with the signs and accordian on Sunset.
